Alright, I've been slacking.
So far, the new semester have been good, and I'm getting couple paintings done.

Maybe next week, i'll post the in-progress photos for the paintings...

I am also a part of a show called Power of Portraits at Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History in Jackson, Michigan. So if you have time and money, you should go check it out, it should be up until March 23rd.

Well, school's been out, and Christmas is coming up.
I have been working on a large painting I started this past semester, and began couple smaller paintings, but I seem to not be getting as much done with this whole "winter break" that makes me be lazy...So This week, I don't really have anything to post art related...BUT, I have been playing guitar a little more  which I think is a good thing :)

I am hoping to get this 72" x 65" painting done before next semester...we'll see how it turns out.

It's break time!!

So, this was the last work I finished before the semester ended.

For now, I'm working on a 72" x 65" painting that I started during the semester, and hopefully, I'll have it done before the new semester begins in January.

Almost the End!

Well, I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!
Since I'm not from the U.S., I'm not as enthusiastic about the holiday as others, but I went "home" (as in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan) and had a nice time relaxing. I did have to do some homework for the upcoming final weeks of school, but I think I'm almost ready to be done.

Right now, I'm just thinking of new ideas for some paintings to start over winter break, and probably get some panels ready. Hopefully, I can have a fairly productive winter break.

Well...

So, as I approach my mid-program review for my MFA, I'm thinking about where I am right now.
I have gotten better since I started, but I have a looong way to go. I need to keep painting and painting so I can actually be happy with the works I'll have for my thesis show. Hopefully, I'll get there eventually.

But for now, this is where I am.
